Our Accessories Lineup

Each product below is available for individual purchase or bundled with your pallet order. We carry stock on all items and can fulfill most accessory orders same-day.

1

Pallet Collars

Pallet collars transform a standard flat pallet into a stackable, collapsible box without the need for additional packaging. Made from planed, kiln-dried wood panels connected by galvanized steel hinges, these collars fold flat for return shipping and storage, then snap into place around any standard pallet to create a solid containment wall. Stack multiple collars to increase the height of your pallet box to fit taller loads.

Specifications

  • Standard sizes: 48" x 40", 48" x 48", 40" x 40"
  • Panel height: 8" per collar (stack up to 6 high)
  • Material: Kiln-dried pine with galvanized steel hinges
  • Load capacity: Supports full pallet weight when stacked

Common Use Cases

Parts storage, agricultural produce, auto components, return logistics, interplant shipping

2

Pallet Covers

Protect your palletized goods from dust, moisture, UV exposure, and contamination during storage and transit. Our pallet covers come in several materials depending on your protection requirements. Polyethylene covers provide basic moisture and dust protection for warehouse storage. Woven poly covers offer superior tear resistance for outdoor staging. Thermal covers include insulating layers for temperature-sensitive shipments that need protection from heat or cold during transit.

Specifications

  • Materials: LDPE, woven polyethylene, thermal reflective
  • Thickness: 1.5 mil to 6 mil depending on application
  • Sizes: Standard fits 48" x 40" x 60" (custom sizes available)
  • Colors: Clear, black, white, silver (thermal)

Common Use Cases

Outdoor storage, food products, pharmaceutical goods, temperature-sensitive cargo, long-term warehousing

3

Anti-Slip Mats

Anti-slip pallet mats are thin, textured sheets placed between the pallet deck and the product load, or between stacked layers of product, to prevent shifting during transport. They are especially valuable for loads that cannot be stretch-wrapped due to product sensitivity, or as an additional security layer alongside film wrapping. The high-friction surface grips both the pallet deck and the product packaging to keep everything locked in position.

Specifications

  • Material: Recycled rubber composite or textured polyethylene
  • Thickness: 3mm to 6mm
  • Coefficient of friction: 0.7+ (rubber), 0.5+ (PE)
  • Sizes: Cut to fit any pallet dimension

Common Use Cases

Glass bottles, canned goods, paper products, printed materials, bagged goods, unstable stack patterns

4

Corner Protectors

Cardboard, plastic, or foam corner protectors guard the edges of palletized loads against strap damage, impact during handling, and crush forces during stacking. L-shaped corner boards distribute the tension from stretch film and strapping across a wider surface area, preventing the film from cutting into carton corners. For high-value shipments, corner protectors dramatically reduce damage claims and return rates.

Specifications

  • Materials: Laminated cardboard, recycled plastic, EVA foam
  • Lengths: 24", 36", 48", or cut to order
  • Leg dimensions: 2" x 2", 3" x 3", 4" x 4"
  • Cardboard thickness: 0.120" to 0.250"

Common Use Cases

Appliances, furniture, electronics, flat-pack goods, any strapped or wrapped load

5

Stretch Wrap

Stretch film is the backbone of unitized load security. Our machine-grade and hand-grade films are formulated for maximum cling and puncture resistance, keeping loads tight on the pallet from dock to destination. We carry conventional cast film for smooth, quiet application and blown film for superior load-holding force and puncture resistance in demanding environments. Pre-stretched film options reduce material usage by up to 40% compared to conventional rolls.

Specifications

  • Types: Cast, blown, pre-stretched, colored, UVI-resistant
  • Widths: 12", 15", 18", 20" (hand); 20", 30" (machine)
  • Gauge: 60 to 120 (conventional), 25 to 37 (pre-stretched)
  • Roll weight: 5 lb to 40 lb depending on format

Common Use Cases

Universal load containment for all palletized shipments, warehouse storage, outdoor staging

6

Dunnage Materials

Dunnage refers to any material used to fill voids, cushion products, and separate layers within a palletized load. We supply airbags (dunnage bags) that inflate to fill gaps between products or between the load and trailer walls, preventing shift during transit. We also carry foam sheets, corrugated layer pads, and wood blocking and bracing materials for securing irregularly shaped items on the pallet deck.

Specifications

  • Airbags: Level 1 through Level 5 (AAR rated)
  • Foam: Polyethylene, 1/8" to 2" thickness, various densities
  • Layer pads: Corrugated single and double wall, kraft or white
  • Wood blocking: Cut to size from clean lumber, no bark

Common Use Cases

Trailer load securing, fragile goods protection, layer separation, void fill, heavy machinery bracing

7

Pallet Jacks

Manual hydraulic pallet jacks are the essential tool for moving loaded pallets across warehouse floors, loading docks, and retail backrooms. We carry standard-duty jacks with a 5,500 lb capacity suitable for most general warehousing tasks, and heavy-duty models rated to 8,000 lbs for industrial environments. All units feature hardened steel forks, polyurethane load wheels for smooth rolling on concrete, and ergonomic handle grips.

Accessory Sizing Tips

Pallet Collars

Collars must match your pallet footprint exactly. A 48" x 40" collar will not fit a 48" x 48" pallet. For custom pallet sizes, we manufacture custom collars to match. Allow 1/8" clearance on each side for easy placement.

Stretch Wrap Widths

For hand wrapping, 18" or 20" film works for most pallet heights. For machine wrapping, match your wrapper's carriage specifications. Pre-stretched film (at 25 to 37 gauge) covers more area per roll and reduces material cost by up to 40%.

Pallet Jack Fork Width

Standard pallet jack forks are 27" wide, designed for 48" x 40" GMA pallets entered from the 40" side. Narrow-aisle jacks (20.5" forks) fit 48" x 48" pallets entered from either direction. Verify your pallet entry dimensions before purchasing.

Calculating Your Accessory Needs

Step 1: Monthly Pallet Volume

Start with your average monthly outbound pallet count. Include all departments and shipping lanes. If you ship 200 pallets per month and each needs 4 corner protectors, that is 800 corner protectors per month, or 2,400 per quarter for a bulk order.

Step 2: Reuse Factor

Some accessories are reusable. Anti-slip mats last 20+ uses. Pallet collars last 50+ cycles. Factor reuse into your calculation. If you have a closed-loop supply chain where collars return, you need far fewer than your monthly pallet volume.

Step 3: Safety Stock

Keep 2 to 4 weeks of safety stock on hand for consumable items (stretch wrap, corner protectors, covers). For durable items (collars, mats, jacks), one spare unit for every 10 in circulation handles loss and damage without disrupting operations.

Accessory Maintenance & Care Tips

Proper maintenance extends the life of your pallet accessories and ensures they perform reliably every time. Here are expert maintenance tips for each product category.

Pallet Collar Care

  • Inspect hinges monthly for rust or looseness. Apply a light oil spray (WD-40 or similar) to hinge pins quarterly.
  • Store folded collars indoors when not in use. Extended outdoor exposure causes wood swelling and hinge binding.
  • Replace individual panels rather than the entire collar when damage occurs. We sell replacement panels for all standard sizes.
  • Stack no more than 30 folded collars per pile to prevent bottom panels from warping under weight.
  • Clean food-contact collars with a mild detergent and allow to dry fully before reuse.

Pallet Cover Maintenance

  • Shake out dust and debris after each use before folding for storage. Trapped grit causes micro-tears on the next deployment.
  • Repair small tears immediately with packing tape to prevent them from growing into cover failures.
  • Rotate your cover inventory so each cover gets used roughly equally. Covers stored too long become brittle from UV degradation even indoors.
  • Thermal covers should be inspected for delamination of the reflective layer. Replace when insulation value is compromised.
  • Never drag covers across rough surfaces. Lift and place to avoid abrasion damage to the underside.

Anti-Slip Mat Upkeep

  • Wash rubber mats with soap and water every 20 uses to maintain grip. Oil, dust, and debris reduce the coefficient of friction over time.
  • Store flat or rolled loosely. Do not fold—creases in rubber mats create weak spots that tear.
  • Inspect for tears, thin spots, or permanent compression. A mat that has lost its texture no longer provides adequate grip.
  • Replace mats when they become thinner than 2mm. Below this threshold, friction performance drops significantly.

Stretch Film Best Practices

  • Store film at 50 to 85 degrees Fahrenheit. Cold film (below 40 degrees) becomes brittle and snaps during application.
  • Use a stretch film dispenser rather than applying by hand. Dispensers provide consistent tension and reduce operator fatigue by 70%.
  • Apply 3 wraps at the base, 2 wraps around the body, and 3 wraps at the top for optimal load containment on a standard pallet.
  • Pre-stretched film requires less force and covers more per roll. If your team complains about hand fatigue, switch to pre-stretched.
  • Keep film away from direct sunlight during storage. UV-damaged film tears easily and loses cling properties.

Corner Protector Tips

  • Match protector length to your load height. Short protectors on tall loads concentrate strap force at unprotected points.
  • Use protectors rated for your strap tension. Thin cardboard protectors crush under high-tension poly strapping.
  • Reuse undamaged plastic protectors. Unlike cardboard, plastic protectors can be wiped clean and used 10+ times.
  • Position protectors at all four vertical edges and ensure they extend past the top and bottom of the load by at least 2 inches.

Pallet Jack Maintenance

  • Grease the pump mechanism and wheel axles every 30 days or every 1,000 cycles, whichever comes first.
  • Check hydraulic fluid level monthly. Low fluid causes slow or incomplete lifting. Top off with standard hydraulic jack oil.
  • Inspect load wheels and steer wheels for flat spots, cracks, or missing chunks. Worn wheels cause uneven rolling and floor damage.
  • Replace fork tips (entry rollers) when they become mushroomed or chipped. Damaged tips catch on pallet openings and cause stringer splits.
  • Keep jacks stored in the lowered position when not in use. Storing in the raised position stresses hydraulic seals unnecessarily.

Pallet Accessories FAQ

Can I order accessories without buying pallets?

Absolutely. All of our accessories are available as standalone purchases. You do not need to buy pallets from us to order collars, covers, stretch wrap, or any other accessory. That said, bundling accessories with a pallet order gives you the best combined pricing.

Do you stock metric-sized accessories for European pallets?

We carry standard accessories sized for the 1200mm x 800mm EUR pallet footprint, which is the most common European pallet. Collars, covers, and mats are available in this size. For other metric sizes, we can order or custom-cut to fit with a short lead time.

What stretch wrap thickness should I use?

For lightweight loads under 1,000 lbs, 60 to 70 gauge cast film is sufficient. For standard loads of 1,000 to 2,500 lbs, 80 gauge cast or blown film provides good hold. For heavy or sharp-edged loads above 2,500 lbs, use 100 to 120 gauge blown film for maximum puncture resistance.

Are pallet collars reusable for food products?

Yes, provided they are made from kiln-dried, untreated wood (no chemical preservatives). Our standard collars meet this requirement. For food applications, we recommend cleaning collars between uses and inspecting for mold or contamination before reloading.

How do I choose between rubber and polyethylene anti-slip mats?

Rubber mats provide higher friction (0.7+ coefficient) and are better for heavy loads, glass, and unstable stack patterns. Polyethylene mats are lighter, cheaper, and easier to clean, making them better for light to moderate loads in food and pharmaceutical environments where washability matters.

Do you service or repair pallet jacks?

We sell replacement parts (wheels, seals, handles, and pump kits) for the pallet jack models we carry. For full repair service, we can recommend local material handling service providers in the Eugene area.
